Hybrid Imaging Virtual Workshop (02 24)
Course Overview
Hybrid imaging is helping cardiology teams enhance image quality and obtain new information that impacts treatment decisions and our patients’ long-term outcomes. The ASNC Hybrid Imaging Workshop will offer participants an interactive experience and guide you through 250 cases to provide direction when utilizing SPECT/CT and PET/CT imaging with attenuation correction, localization of radiotracer uptake and coronary artery calcium scoring.
Target Audience
This activity is intended for cardiologists, nuclear cardiologists and nuclear medicine physicians practicing in the field of nuclear cardiology.
Learning Objectives
After participating in this ASNC Hybrid Imaging Workshop, learners should be able to:
• Identify how SPECT/CT and PET/CT testing improve diagnostic accuracy and risk-stratification in patients with known or suspected coronary artery disease.
• Interpret low-dose CT Imaging and incidental findings to improve patient health
• Identify solutions for preauthorization and reimbursement challenges.
• Employ proven solutions for increasing efficiency, collaborating with radiology, and streamline reimbursement through billing and coding.
• Appraise the value hybrid imaging in improving the diagnostic accuracy of MPI studies
• Discuss how the clinical value of hybrid nuclear-CT imaging in assessing infection, inflammation, viability, and hibernation in cardiac patients
Overall Goal
The overall goal of the Hybrid Imaging Virtual Workshop is to increase learners’ knowledge and competence about SPECT/CT and PET/CT imaging with attenuation correction, localization of radiotracer uptake and coronary artery calcium scoring.
